I don’t know about you, but when it comes to cute animal products, I can’t help myself. I just love these kitschy yet edgy homewares and accessories from Smug in Islington, London. Opened by graphic and interior designer Lizzie Evans in 2009, the little shop in Camden Passage offers a host of one-off, exclusive, vintage and vintage-inspired toys, clothing, accessories and home decor items. Many are sourced from local artisans, or handmade by rural people from around the world.
Add some imagination to your home with a zoo of wonderful creatures around every corner – hung in a niche on the wall, cozing at the head of your bed, or tucked into your teacup! Which is your favourite?
