Special Guest Week: Cole & Son’s Geometric Collection

Special Guest Blogger Week

British wallpaper manufacturer Cole & Son has taken an alternative approach to wall pattern this season with the launch of its Geometric collection. Drawing inspiration from the Op Art movement and the growing trend for angular patterns within the home, the collection includes several repeat prints that incorporate colourful triangles, hexagons and diamonds in a variety of colours. My personal favourite is this colourful graphic print that is on display in the Andaz Hotel, Liverpool Street, for the duration of the London Design Festival – rich jewel colours and tonal gradients are combined to create what is certainly a statement wall treatment!

{Cole & Son/Luchford APM}

Initially installed as a temporary addition to Andaz’s modern, luxurious interior, the wallpaper has proved so popular with guests that the hotel is considering keeping it as a permanent fixture, proving Cole & Son’s talent for creating stop-and-stare interior elements.

If you are hoping to visit the installation yourself, more information along with a map can be found via the London Design Festival listing.
